Corrections
Business & Therapy is committed to accuracy. When we make errors, we correct them promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted at the top of the affected article with the date the correction was made and a brief description of what changed.
Our corrections policy
We distinguish between three types of corrections:
Factual corrections — errors of fact, including incorrect statistics, misattributed quotes, wrong dates, or inaccurate descriptions of events, policies, or research findings. These are corrected immediately upon verification and noted prominently at the top of the affected article.
Clarifications — cases where the original text was not wrong but was ambiguous or potentially misleading. Clarifications are added to the article with a note explaining what was clarified and why.
Updates — cases where the facts in an article were accurate at time of publication but have since changed. Legislative status, research findings, and platform policies change frequently. We update articles when we become aware of material changes and note the update date.
How to submit a correction
If you believe we have made an error, please contact us at editorial@businessandtherapy.com with the subject line "Correction Request: [Article Title]." Include the specific claim you believe is incorrect, the correct information, and your source for the correction.
We take all correction requests seriously and aim to respond within 48 hours. We investigate every request before making a change — we do not make corrections based on assertions alone, but we take every request seriously and investigate promptly.
What we do not change
We do not alter the editorial substance of published articles in response to subject displeasure, commercial pressure, or requests that are not accompanied by specific factual corrections. Opinion pieces represent the views of the named author. Disagreement with an author's position is not grounds for a correction request.
